  • Writing Workshop (Ages 18+)

    This is a FREE creative, writing workshop open to developmentally disabled adults. All forms of communication are welcomed and supported. This is in partnership with Cow Tipping Press. Class size is limited to 10. An OT will be available to support regulation, accommodations, and adaptations

    Location: Maple Grove Library

    Dates/Times: Thursdays, February 6 - March 6, 2024, 1:00-3:00 PM. The book launch will be Saturday, March 29, 2025

  • Nature Navigators (Ages 8 to 16)

    This an inclusive, therapeutic, curiosity-driven, and nature￾based camp. It offers youth to explore and access nature in various ways for mindfulness, fun, and reaping the therapeutic benefits of nature. This is a space for youth to connect with their true selves, connect with peers in their own way, and connect with nature

    Location: Plymouth Community Center

    Dates/Times: Tuesdays, April 1 - May 20, 4:45 to 5:45 PM

  • Forest Friends (Ages 2-6)

    This course is an inclusive child and caregiver playgroup that offers kids the chance to explore and access nature in various ways for mindfulness, fun, reaping the therapeutic benefits of nature, and growth/development.

    Location: Plymouth Community Center

    Dates/Times: Wednesdays, April 2 to May 21, 9 to 10 AM

  • Hungry Caterpillar Feeding Group (Ages 3 to 6)

    Exploring new foods can be stress-free and fun when it’s paired alongside “The Hungry Caterpillar.” Each session will include sensory and/or oral-motor activity that can support readying your child’s body for trying something new. Each week we will complete a Hungry Caterpillar art or craft and explore and play with food embracing our various senses.

  • Board Game Group (Ages 8 to 16)

    Have fun with peers engaging in a board game of your choosing. This is an inclusive group that will promote social engagement and executive functioning.

  • Nature Camp with Therapeutic Animal Friends (Ages 6 to 16)

    This camp offers youth the opportunity to explore and access nature in various ways for mindfulness, fun, and reaping the therapeutic benefits of nature. This is a space for youth to connect with their true selves, connect with peers in their own way, and connect with nature.

    Location: RecuperAcres, Watertown, MN

    Dates/Times: June 23-26, 9 AM to 12 PM

  • Grounded Arts and Crafts (Ages 3-6)

    This course offers youth to explore and access nature creatively. We will use nature-based materials to create various arts and crafts. This is a space for youth to connect with their true selves, connect with peers in their own way, and connect with nature.
